Canine Good Citizen title and meals!

This past Friday, my mom, Mac and I went to Cary, IL to take the AKC Canine Good Citizen test.  Mac being a service dog passed with flying colors.  But when it came to taking his picture in front of the flag, he was having none of it.

Mac had another adventure last week when he met his first cat (well, kitten). I think he wanted to eat it as he kept licking his chops. . . .Don't worry, we kept the kitten safe.

He has been thoroughly enjoying his meals.  I try to keep them different and vary what he gets, but it can be hard.  The freezer is full and I really need to use some things up.  I did finally portion the lamb kidneys and beef thymus (sweetbread). I am definitely set when it comes to organ meals for quite a while.

Here are several of Macs meals recently.  We begin with beef lung! He really enjoys this and I love it because it takes him longer to chew! Yay!

Next we have sheep tongue, another chewy meal.

Here is some more beef lung with beef thymus.
