I have been absent for a while for multiple reasons, but the biggest one was the loss of my beautiful girl Rosie. She was ill and while we tried three veterinarians in the area, only one knew anything about birds. Sadly, even after treatment, she passed away on 7/6/16 in my hands. Rosie was adopted on 8/6/11 and we never truly knew her real age. I was told 8 when I adopted her, but she could have been older. She was a beautiful soul and I really miss her.
She was such an awesome little girl. I never knew her history, but it never made a difference. She was my girl.
